Four APDA scholarships are open, and each one comes with a mentor
The Advanced Project Delivery Association is running four scholarships this year under its Scholarship and Mentorship Program. Applications close Friday, October 16, extended from September 30. Recipients are recognized at the CII Global AWP+ Conference in Houston on Thursday, November 19.
Every recipient receives the same three things: full Level 3 certification through AWP University, access to the AWP+ Conference, and a mentor matched to their category for one-on-one work.

The categories are scored separately, and that matters
The APDA Scholarship and Mentorship Program looks at applicants in the context of where they are in their careers. For someone just entering the industry, aptitude and initiative matter. For an experienced professional, the focus shifts toward demonstrated results and readiness to take the next step.
Applications are scored independently and then reviewed by committee, so applicants are considered against expectations appropriate to their career stage.
The Advanced Project Delivery Association is offering one scholarship in each of four categories:
- New to the Industry (Emerging Talent), mentored by Robin Mikaelsson at PTAG
- Women in Construction, mentored by D’Tara Frank at Dow
- Future Leader and Career Advancement, mentored by Juan Sebastian Velasco Marin at Worley
- Digital and Technology Innovation in Delivery, mentored by Eric Crivella at WorkPacks
Each recipient receives full Level 3 certification through AWP University, which is CII-sponsored, access to the CII Global AWP+ Conference, and a dedicated mentor for the year. Recipients will also be recognized at the conference on Thursday, November 19.
The certification and conference access are valuable. But the year of mentorship deserves just as much attention.
A year of someone’s time, perspective, and experience is a meaningful commitment. That is why there is a person behind each category, not simply a row of supporting logos.
